Frequently asked

How do I cancel my subscription?
All subscriptions are billed by Apple App Store or Google Play. To cancel: on iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Gochu → Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Gochu → Cancel. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current period.
I was charged after my free trial can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store and Play Store purchases are handled by Apple and Google respectively. Contact hello@gochu.ai with your receipt and we'll help you through the process.
I can't sign in. What do I do?
Try the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen we'll email you a reset link. Still stuck? Email hello@gochu.ai from the address you signed up with and we'll verify and recover the account manually.
Does Gochu work offline?
No Gochu needs an internet connection to generate responses. Sent messages will queue and deliver once you're back online.
Is my data shared with advertisers?
No. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
Can I export my conversation history?
Yes. Open Settings → Privacy → Export my data. We'll prepare a ZIP file with your account info, preferences, and conversations and email you a download link within 24 hours.
Do AI characters remember me?
Yes characters carry a memory of past conversations with you. You can review or wipe a character's memory of you at any time from their profile screen.

Safety & reporting

If you encounter content that you believe violates our guidelines, report it from within the app: long-press the message, then tap Report. Our team reviews reports 24/7.
